It may come as a surprise to most people that my biggest influx of health coaching inquiries come in October. This is the month when everyone starts to stress about the food and drinks that come with the holiday season.
My job is to provide you with the tools, tips and resources to confidently attack this holiday season! It IS possible to feel really good after Thanksgiving dinner, and to not overdo it. TIP 1 TO A HEALTHY HAPPY HOLIDAY:
Eat as you normally would throughout the day. You don’t know how many times I overhear conversations of people saying they need to “save their calories.” WELL! No wonder you feel overstuffed, lethargic, and excuse my french, like shit, when after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc! You are eating a days worth of calories, or more, in almost one sitting, or in a 6 hour timespan. Eat your normal breakfast, snack, whatever it might be. This allows you to go into a party, holiday, celebration, etc with a normal appetite so you can enjoy everything in moderation.
