it finally (kind of) feels like summer in NJ. we’ve had lots of rain but have also had some warmer days now that we are in June. I know everyone feels so much better when the sun shines, it’s warm out, and we can be outside more. I also LOVE getting dressed in the warmer weather because I prefer my summer wardrobe and warm-weather clothes as opposed to jeans, sweaters, etc!
here are some of my favorite outfits lately!
I wore this to the pool this past weekend and loved it so much, I then wore it out to dinner too. this linen dress is lined so you can’t see through it, but it’s also light enough to wear to the beach or pool on a day that isn’t too hot. also, my husband doesn’t LOVE these jellies which means they’re so cute, right?!
I got these adorable pajamas for my birthday! they are so soft and comfortable. I think having actual pajamas after years of wearing shorts and t-shirts is so incredibly chic and makes me feel so good! I went with my true size in these.
stripes for summer. groundbreaking! but I do love this outfit which combines this lightweight linen striped top with a more elevated tailored shorts. additionally - these sandals are totally flat but my friend and I both have them and agree they are SO comfortable.
I wore this for a day out with my mom recently and realized these are some of my top items I own right now - I wear them all on repeat in different ways. these flats are SO comfortable - a little pricey but I managed to get them on sale last year. however, I think they are definitely worth the price. this dress is the same style as a Hill House nap dress without the price tag. the prints and colors are muted, but you can’t beat the price. as for the sweater, I took a chance on this color since I didn’t own anything in chartreuse and I wear it surprisingly more than I thought I would!
I get so many compliments and questions on this set - it looks like a dress but has matching shorts to wear with it. it comes in so many colors from a small women owned business in Charleston. I want everything from this brand - I have a couple pairs of PJs and they are my favorite. I would size up one for a comfy and looser fit!
